How to mount RJ45 or RJ11 connectors on a cable?

If you want to connect RJ45 or RJ11 connectors to a cable (on a cable spool), this is hardly possible without crimping pliers. Crimping pliers are used to attach the connector to the wire pairs of the network cable.

How do crimping pliers work?

After you have pushed the wire pairs into the connectors in their correct order, the wiring must be secured. For this purpose, connectors and wire pairs are pressed together with the crimping pliers.

Standard or professional pliers?
