Your server rack is delivered ready-made. So, just place it and fill it up? Well, you're almost right!
The rack is delivered on a pallet. To prevent damage to the leveling feet during transport, they are supplied separately, and you need to attach them. We'll explain how to do this with just a few steps.
Requirements
- Allen key (provided)
1. At the bottom right of the rack, there is a cover cap for the entrance of the leveling feet. |
2. Remove it with the provided Allen key. |
3. Screw the leveling foot into the opening. |
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 for the remaining 3 feet. |
Note!
The extra nut must be tightened against the server rack after setting the leveling foot to secure the leveling foot.
Pedestal for Patch Rack
If you place your patch rack on leveling feet, free space is created at the bottom. This is necessary to run cables through the bottom plate of the rack in or out of the rack. If you want to seal the free space, you can easily do this with a pedestal. With a pedestal, the space under the rack remains free, but you have a baseboard all around.
